A detailed plan for every day — from arrival to departure.

1. 1

   Day 1 — Arrival in Zurich

   ▾

   Pick-up from Zurich airport and transfer to your hotel. Free afternoon to rest.
   Note: Hotel check-in is normally at 2:00 PM. If you need an early room, we recommend booking an extra night at the start of the trip.

2. 2

   Day 2 — Zurich and Rapperswil

   ▾

   9:00 AM — Walking tour of historic central Zurich with our guide.

   10:30 AM — A roughly two-hour cruise across Lake Zurich with short stops at the picturesque lakeside villages.

   12:30 PM — Arrival in Rapperswil, the charming village known for its medieval castle. Free time to explore and have lunch.

   3:00 PM — Return to Zurich by train. Free evening to explore the city on your own.

   Day 3 — Grindelwald and Lucerne

   ▾

   7:30 AM — Departure from Zurich through stunning mountain and lake landscapes.

   10:00 AM — Arrival in Grindelwald. Coffee break in this alpine resort, then a cable-car ride up to Grindelwald First (tickets included) with a short walk along the path overlooking the Alps. Lunch is included in Lucerne (vegetarian option available).

   1:45 PM — Departure from Grindelwald to Lucerne.

   3:30 PM — Lucerne. Walking tour of the city centre with a visit to the covered Chapel Bridge, the town hall and the clock tower.

   7:00 PM — Return to Zurich.

   Day 4 — Zurich to Bellinzona to Como to Milan

   8:00 AM — Departure from Zurich, crossing the Alps toward the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland.

   10:45 AM — Bellinzona, the UNESCO-listed town with its three castles. Free time to explore.

   12:00 PM — Departure from Bellinzona.

   1:15 PM — Como, the jewel of Lombardy. Free time to walk along the lakeshore and have lunch.

   3:15 PM — Departure from Como.

   4:15 PM — Arrival in Milan and a short tour of Piazza del Duomo. Hotel transfer at 8:00 PM.

   Day 5 — Milan to Pisa to Rome

   ▾

   8:30 AM — Departure from Milan toward Pisa.

   12:00 PM — Arrival in Pisa and a ride on the small tourist train up to the Square of Miracles. Time to visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the cathedral and the baptistery.

   3:00 PM — Departure from Pisa, continuing on to Rome.

   8:30 PM — Arrival in Rome.

6. 6

   Day 6 — Rome

   ▾

   In the morning, a 3-hour panoramic tour with a local guide covering the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum, and the Imperial Forums. The tour ends near Vatican City around 11:00 AM, with an optional visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel.

   Free afternoon.

   6:00 PM — Transfer to the historic Trastevere district for dinner, returning to the hotel around 8:30 PM.

7. 7

   Day 7 — Rome to Florence

   ▾

   8:00 AM — Departure from Rome through the Tiber valley.

   12:15 PM — Arrival in Florence with a stop at Piazzale Michelangelo for a panoramic view of the city. Then a 2.5-hour walking tour with a local guide covering the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Ponte Vecchio, the Straw Market, Piazza della Repubblica, and Palazzo Vecchio.

   Free afternoon to explore the historic markets and museums.

8. 8

   Day 8 — Florence to Venice

   ▾

   8:15 AM — Departure from Florence across the Apennines and the Po Valley.

   12:00 PM — Arrival at Tronchetto station in Venice, then a boat ride through the Giudecca canal to the island. Guided tour of St. Mark's Square and a visit to a Murano glass factory.

   Free afternoon to explore the city.

   7:30 PM — Return to the mainland and transfer to a hotel in the Mestre area.

9. 9

   Day 9 — Venice

   ▾

   After breakfast, the trip ends. Check-out is normally at 10:00 AM, with the option to leave luggage at reception so you can enjoy a final day in the city.
